This website is for all Illings of the world!

The ILLING Portal is now online. This site is being maintained by Paolo and Stefano Illing and is available to all the ILLING family and relatives. You will find here information about the family, as well as two genealogical links where perhaps you can find your ancestor or a long lost cousin.
Furthermore , an email address such as This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it is available for free to qualified users. All you need to do is register on this site, and then request the email to be setup.

This primary language of this site will be English, but because of many Illings are now in Italy, Germany and Austria, the site will also be translated in these languages. If a translation is not available, the English page will be displayed as a default.
We hope very much that other Illingss will want to contribute information and ideas. We hope you will enjoy using ILLING.net and find the content interesting.

If you are a ILLING (or close family member) you may wish to register. If you then contact us and let us know something about your interest in ILLING's family history, we can unlock the private (family only) areas that may be relevant to you.

What languages are supported by Joomla! 1.5?

Within the Installer you will find a wide collection of languages. The installer currently supports the following languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Bengali, Czech, Danish, German, Greek, English, Spanish, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Devanagari(India), Croatian(Croatia), Magyar (Hungary), Italian, Malay, Norwegian bokmal, Dutch, Portuguese(Brasil), Portugues(Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Svenska, Thai and more are being added all the time.
By default the English language is installed for the Back and Front-ends. You can download additional language files from the Joomla!Extensions Directory.

We are Volunteers

The administrators of this site are volunteers who have worked together to take the site to a usable state. We will continue to improve the site, update the genealogical records, etc.

We encourage other ILLING family members to volunteer and provide us with information; we encourage you to become a contributor to this site. If you register, we will give you privileges to add and edit content (articles) as well as update your genealogical branch.

When you are a registered user, you can also set your preferred language, as well as ask your browser to remember you, so you do not have to login every time.
